O imperativo en inglés utilízase para dar ordes, consellos ou recomendacións.
Escribiríase da seguinte maneira: (sen suxeito)
.Throw the rubbish into the bin!: Mete o lixo na papeleira!
. Turn off the TV!: Apaga a televisión!
. Use recycled paper!: Usa papel reciclado
. Don't go to school by car: Non vaias a escola en coche
. Don't turn on the tap!: Non abras a billa (grifo)
. Let's go to recycle!: Reciclemos!
. Let's reuse the plastic bags!: Reciclemos as bolsas de plástico!
. Let's be green!: Sexamos ecoloxistas!
